Magasinet Kunst is another redesign project of the Danish magazine by Henrik Ellersgaard. He included a flap cover that can be used as a marker and help preserve the cover, it also serves as an promotional identity for the magazine itself. Ellersgaard chose an elegant typeface for the identity of the magazine, which gives an almost calligraphic and organic character to the magazine.
This is a school assignment. I did a redesign for the danish magazine “Magasinet Kunst”. The magazine is published 4 times a year, Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winther. This was a good opportunity to make it more collectible. The “flap” on the front page can be ripped off, so the art itself becomes the identity of the magazine. This will make it last longer and suit the bookshelf.
