The Lost and Found Project was launched by volunteers who collected photographs swept by last year’s Japan Earthquake disaster.  There’s something aesthetically pleasing about the blotches of pale colors on the white walls yet if one steps in front of these images, you suddenly realize the loss and fragility of a human life and an eerie gloom takes hold on the spectator not knowing whether the person you’re faced with is found or cast away by the flood.  You can support their efforts by getting a poster or simply donate on their site, proceeds will be used to build temporary homes for the town of Yamamoto.
