Fika with Emma

Few things that I love about this photograph is the contrast of the busy metropolitan cab and the timeless simplicity of the woman sitting idly before it. We seem to be drawn in as spectators, watching the subject in midst of taking a photograph of her morning coffee. Fika is a Swedish term for coffee or having a coffee break with a few friends along with some scrumptious pastries, my favorite time of the day.
